KYLE ROBERTS STYLEMARK HOMEBUILDERS, INC. Kyle Roberts has been around the homebuilding business all his life. He attributes his success to his grandfather, Vernon Winford, who set the standard of quality for building in the Hoover, Alabama area. I feel like we`re the best in the industry because we build a house we`d like to live in ourselves.” Recently, StyleMark Homebuilders completed construction of a charity house, “Ethel`s Place,” named in honor of Ethel Feigelson of placeCityMountain Brook who died of breast cancer after a nine-year struggle. The house was one of eight Parade homes located in Riverwoods, a new community in Helena. Century-old stained glass acquired from England gave a dramatic effect to the dining room. Roberts said that with the help of subs and suppliers he was able to provide quality materials, such as cement plank siding that comes with a 50-year no-rot warranty. “Everything is strictly low maintenance,” he said. “No corners were cut for this house. If anything, more effort was put into it because it is for charity.” The sale of the house will further the work of the UAB Breast Cancer Foundation. In 1997, Kyle was awarded the Gold and Silver awards, special recognition in 1998, two Gold awards in the 2000 Parade of Homes in Eagle Point and multiple Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in 2001 thru 2008 Parade of Homes. He is Past Chairman of the Master Builder Board of Directors for 2003 and the Greater Birmingham Association of Homebuilders South Chapter Board of Directors for 2004 and was appointed to the Executive Board of Directors for serving as Chairman of the South Known for his innovative approach to homebuilding, Roberts is aware of the latest trends and the amenities today`s homebuyer is seeking.
